Denotative images

Denotation is the literal description of an image, objectively, being perfectly understandable without the need for the viewer to make any kind of interpretation.
Images with denotative meanings are used to inform and transmit information. In other words, it can only be described in one way and does not have multiple interpretations.

Here I tried to picture one object in different denotative ways, using various techniques.
In this drawing I used brushstrokes of different sizes and colors to picture the same shoe.
For this drawing I used hatching-like technique.
A one line drawing, also known as a single line drawing, is a drawing made with just one line. In this picture I used a single line drawing technique.
For the next drawing I used the russian word "туфля" (which means "a shoe").
For this one image of shoe I made a collage of red lips and cut it in form of shoe.

In this image I used only simple forms: triangles, rectangles and a circle.

In this image I firstly made a red blur and then using a half-transparent eraser drew a shoe.
